Varas Kassem Jinnah born in Dhuvav, British India in 1887 was adopted by Maternal Grandfather (Jinnah Sharif Thawar Hirji Karamsi Mamad) at the age of 10. His biological heritage is Visram Devsi Premji Noormohamed.


Varas kassem Jinnah had three brothers and three sisters. Biological Father Visram Devsi died on Saturday 28th December 1912 in Dhuvav. Father Jinnah Sharif died on 25th October 1918 in Dhuvav. Mother Jiwibai died on Wednesday 18th February 1931 in Jamnagar. Mother Ujbai died on Wednesday 22nd November 1944 in Jamnagar. Sister Jena Visram (wife to Popat Bai) died on 10th August 1955 in Zanzibar, British East Africa. Sister Khatijabai died on Thursday 25th January 1968



His 13 children, all borne by his second wife Jenabai, were born in and around the city of Jamnagar in the province of Gujerat during the years 1910 to 1932.



The VKJ family was centered near Jamnagar in the village of Dhuvav in British India, during which time some of the sons migrated to British East Africa. | Until Independance from the British Raj in India. | At the formation of the new independant nations, and the ensuing India-Pakistan partition War, the parts of the family that had not already left for East Africa moved mainly to Karachi in Pakistan.
Today, Kassam Jinnah's descendants are spread across Asia, East Africa, Middle East, Australia, Europe, U.S. and Canada
